New Generation Artist Ruslan Talas will showcase his versatility as a violinist and take us to the world of gypsy jazz, among other things, while enjoying a drink. A blissful end to this first festival day!
Church Marathon – Starting Location Lutherse Kerk
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 28, 2023 | START AT 7:00 PM
A regular and beloved feature during the festival! From 7:00 PM, we take you to three beautifully atmospheric churches in Utrecht that are especially beautifully decorated at this time of year. Our international elite cast plays delightful works that are perfectly suited to the acoustics of these churches. Of course, again with glühwein or hot chocolate and a delicious oliebol!

Especially for this anniversary edition, French-Swiss composer Richard Dubugnon wrote a new work for Janine and we are pleased and proud to present the world premiere of this work for solo violin, piano and string quartet at this festival.
