The festival enjoys working with partners within the city, including the Dutch String Quartet Academy (NSKA). We are delighted to be able to feature no less than three (former) ensembles, including this extremely talented Viride Quartet, during this festival! The members of the Viride Quartet met at the School For Young Talent of the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, and have been playing together intensively since the quartet was founded in 2017. They enjoy playing home-grown music, including, for example, the string quartets of Willem Pijper and Henriette Bosmans. Her engaging string quartet will be performed at this concert by this quartet, described by Classical Affairs in 2022 as “one of the most exciting and high-profile young quartets of the moment”.
