Lars Vogt





  • Leading pianist of his generation with a versatility that ranges from the core classical repertoire of Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann and Brahms to the romantics Grieg, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov and Lutoslawski.
  • He is also increasingly performing as a conductor. In September 2015 he took up a post as Music Director of the Royal Northern Sinfonia at the Sage, Gateshead. And this season he works with many leading orchestras, featuring debuts with Singapore and New Zealand Symphony Orchestras, Warsaw Philharmonic and the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées.
  • His solo engagements this season include the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra in the ZaterdagMatinee series at The Concertgebouw and concerts with the San Francisco Symphony, the St Louis Symphony and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. He returns to North America in Spring 2019 for a tour with Christian and Tanja Tetzlaff including New York (Carnegie Hall), Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver. He will also perform recitals in London, Salzburg, Barcelona and Beijing.
  • Lars Vogt enjoys a high profile as a chamber musician, performing all over the world with other international musicians. This is the first time Lars Vogt joins Janine Jansen at the International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht.
