Achieved third prize in 2006 at the Leeds International Pianoforte Competition and received first prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2010
Studied at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid with Dmitri Bashkirov and Claudio Martinez-Mehner, and later completed his studies at the Piano Academy on Lake Como, where he received advice from Fou Ts’ong, Stanislav Loudenitch, Peter Frankl, Boris Berman , Charles Rosen and Andreas Staier, and with Kirill Gerstein in Stuttgart
Worked as a chamber musician with Janine Jansen, Julian Rachlin, Renaud Capuçon and many others
Performed with many of the leading international orchestras, including the orchestras of Chicago, London and San Francisco, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Residentie Orkest, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Staatskapelle Berlin, Philadelphia Orchestra and Philharmonia Orchestra
Released several albums as Pentatone Artist, including César Franck’s Symphonic Variations with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Gustavo Gimeno
