Won several prizes including the George Enescu International Competition in 2022 and the National Cello Competition Amsterdam in 2020;
Has been nominated as an ‘ECHO Rising Star’ in season 24-25 for a tour of major European concert halls;
Recent and upcoming highlights include performances as soloist with orchestras such as Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra and Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra;
Performs regularly at international chamber music festivals;
His first album Russian Mood was nominated for the Opus Klassik prize 2022;
Studied in the Young Talent Class at the Maastricht Conservatory, subsequently in Cologne with Katharina
Deserno and Maria Kliegel and since 2017 with Jens Peter Maintz at the Universität der Kunste in Berlin;
Also took classes at the Musikakademie in Liechtenstein;
Plays a Guadagnini cello on loan from the Universität der Kunste in Berlin and a Testorecello on loan from the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
