It was with incredible pain in our hearts that we watched the press conference on December 18. A complete lockdown means we have to cancel the festival with the port in sight. Where we were able to move with the previous adjustments of the measures and look at what was possible, this has unfortunately become impossible with this hard lockdown.
We hoped that despite the difficult situation we could offer you a nice and varied festival and the period between Christmas and New Year’s Day could give extra color. Unfortunately, the new variant throws a spanner in the works and it was ultimately not to be.
We are still thinking about a very small (online) alternative, if this is feasible we will let you know soon. In addition, we are of course already looking forward to the next festival, when this will take place will also be announced as soon as possible.
For everyone who has already bought tickets for the festival, you will be informed a.s.a.p. by TivoliVredenburg about the further arrangements.
Despite everything, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a much, much better 2022.
