Noa Wildschut





  • Started violin lessons at the age of 4 with Coosje Wijzenbeek and from 2013 with Vera Beths at the Amsterdam University of the Arts. Currently studying with Antje Weithaas at the Hanns Eisler Musikhochschule in Berlin
  • Won prizes at International Violin Competition Louis Spohr in Weimar (age 9), the Iordens Violin Competition in The Hague (age 10), Concertgebouw Young Talent Award 2013 (age 11) and last year she received the Anton Kersjes Violin Prize 2017
  • Played together with inspiring musicians such as Anne-Sophie Mutter, Janine Jansen, Menahem Pressler, Enrico Pace, Quirine Viersen, Paolo Giacometti, Arthur and Lucas Jussen, Ramón Ortega, and Vesko Eschkenazy. Performs as a duo with pianist Yoram Ish-Hurwitz
  • Worked with orchestras such as Pittsburgh Symphony, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Residentie Orkest, Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, Kremerata Baltica and Mutter Virtuosi, with conductors as Manfred Honeck, James Gaffigan and Michael Sanderling
  • In September 2016 she became an exclusive recording artist for Warner Classics
  • Selected ECHO Rising Star for the season 2019-20
  • Plays a 1714 Giovanni Grancino violin kindly on loan from the Dutch Musical Instrument Foundation. Noa’s bow was custom-made by bowmaker Benoît Rolland, commissioned by the Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation
