Studied at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester and at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she won several awards and graduated with highest honors
Continued her studies in Germany with a grant from the Countess of Munster Musical Trust
Was awarded an ‘Associateship’ by the Royal Academy of Music in 2009
Worked as a bass player with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra
Is currently principal double bass with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and solo bassist with Amsterdam Sinfonietta
Gives recitals throughout Europe and is much in demand as a chamber musician
