Initially studied flute at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and from 2009 at the Conservatory in Amsterdam with Harry Starreveld
In 2002 won first prize at the National Flute Competition and in 2004 he was a finalist at the National Finale of Stichting Jong Muziektalent
Was a finalist at the Princess Christina Concours as double bassist
Studied with Peter Stotijn from 2002 and attended masterclasses with Jeff Bradetich, Duncan McTier and Dominic Seldis. Graduated cum laude in 2014 from the conservatory in Amsterdam with Peter Stotijn
Is currently studying for his master’s degree with Esko Laine at the Hochschule Fur Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin
Regularly substitutes for the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, the North Netherlands Orchestra and the South Netherlands Philharmonic
Has been involved in the education program ‘Kleuter Sinfonietta’ of Amsterdam Sinfonietta since 2010
