  • 1990 (Netherlands)
  • Initially studied flute at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and from 2009 at the Conservatory in Amsterdam with Harry Starreveld
  • In 2002 won first prize at the National Flute Competition and in 2004 he was a finalist at the National Finale of Stichting Jong Muziektalent
  • Was a finalist at the Princess Christina Concours as double bassist
  • Studied with Peter Stotijn from 2002 and attended masterclasses with Jeff Bradetich, Duncan McTier and Dominic Seldis. Graduated cum laude in 2014 from the conservatory in Amsterdam with Peter Stotijn
  • Is currently studying for his master’s degree with Esko Laine at the Hochschule Fur Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin
  • Regularly substitutes for the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, the North Netherlands Orchestra and the South Netherlands Philharmonic
  • Has been involved in the education program ‘Kleuter Sinfonietta’ of Amsterdam Sinfonietta since 2010
